Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Babs International Express ("BIE") provides international freight and logistics services including air freight, sea freight, parcel shipping, and related services between the United States and Nigeria. By using our platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Booking & Payments

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Prices are quoted at the time of booking and may vary based on weight, dimensions, destination, and method of transport. Payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Stripe.

3. Prohibited Items

You agree not to ship illegal items, hazardous materials, perishable goods (without prior arrangement), firearms, explosives, or any items prohibited by US or Nigerian law. BIE reserves the right to inspect shipments and refuse service.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Estimated delivery times are provided as guidelines and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control. BIE will communicate any significant delays.

5. Insurance & Liability

All shipments include basic insurance coverage. For high-value items, additional insurance can be purchased. Liability for loss or damage is limited to the declared value of the goods or the insured amount, whichever is lower.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made before shipment pickup are eligible for a full refund minus a processing fee. After pickup, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact our support team for cancellation requests.

7. Customs & Duties

The recipient is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees unless otherwise arranged. BIE will assist with customs documentation but is not liable for delays caused by customs authorities.
